How Awesome is Saba & St. Kitts?

Well, we are happy to report that it’s Totally Awesome! If you are looking for your next dive adventure there are a lot of reasons to consider going here. We recommend flying into either St. Martin or St. Kitts, both are easy to get to. Then climb aboard the Caribbean Explorer II liveaboard where you only have to unpack your gear once. Now all you have to do is dive, eat, relax and repeat, it’s all inclusive. Optional island excursions are offered for those who are interested. We loved exploring the old British fort on Saba as well as the Batik art studio.

Great Diving here at Home – Dive Michigan

We love to travel the world for great diving. Giant mantas in Indonesia, sharks in the Bahamas, dolphins in Honduras. But it is hard to find better wreck diving than right here in our own back yard. If you’ve ever done it, then you know what we mean. And if you haven’t tried diving in the great lakes, maybe this summer is the time? Check out the video from last summers dives. Amamos Cozumel (We Love Cozumel)

These beautiful images from the cenotes were shot by Cliff Roberts. Cliff is one of our very busy instructors here at Rec Diving and he has introduced many new divers to the sport of scuba. Greetings from Cozumel!

The Rec Diving group is having a blast in Cozumel.

The official report is that the weather is perfect, the water calm, and the diving top notch.

Many creatures have joined the divers on their underwater adventures, including many turtles, some nurse sharks and eagle rays.

These lucky divers were even fortunate enough to have a rare encounter with a hammerhead. But the sighting of the critically extinct lesser electric ray may have been the coolest critter encounter so far. Thanks to Rec Diving’s Matt Ingber for sharing these photos.
